A few of my recent beauty favorites that have become essential to my daily routine.
- Physician's Formula Youth-Boosting Dark Circle Corrector + Concealer - This product is $12 at Target and has made a world of difference under my eyes. For a long time I used Bobbi Brown Tinted Eye Brightener and although I really loved how it opened up my eye area, it's $30 and only lasts about 2 months. For less than half the price, the Physician's Formula product has two roller balls of coverage; "yellow" to correct dark circles, and "light" to blend with your undertones. Plus, if you use the contouring technique to apply makeup, the yellow end is perfect to apply to all of your facial high points (on the tops of your cheekbones, on the center of your forehead, the bridge of your nose, the center of your chin, and on your cupids bow) as a highlighter.
- Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder: Bronze 03 - I've always struggled to find bronzer that doesn't have shimmer, doesn't appear too dark on my fair skin, and most importantly doesn't make me look orange. We all went through that phase, right? Or was it just me? Well, orange no more! Laura Mercier's product gives a nice warmth and healthy glow that looks natural - even in the dead of winter.
- Marc Jacobs Lip Gel Rouge a Levres: 108, Have We Met? - Not too shimmery, not too dark - this lip color is just right, giving your pout a little contrast and pop of color you need.
- Laura Mercier Lip Glace: Babydoll - I started using this product around the time of my wedding. My makeup artist was a Laura Mercier representative and turned me on to many of the line's wonderful products. This lip glace is a subtle shimmery pink. I wear it on top of bold pinks or sometimes by itself for a hint of shine.
